Working with the Syrian Sovereign Fund, Arada’s initial project in the country is a 4 million square metre integrated city project, located just 10 minutes drive from the centre of Damascus. The mixed-use project will contain 11,000 homes, as well as significant leisure, healthcare, education, commercial, retail and hospitality components.

Our strategic partner
Arada's first project in Syria is being developed through a joint venture with the Syrian Sovereign Fund, a state entity established by Presidential Decree, whose mandate is to attract world-class international investment that creates lasting value for the Syrian people.
The partnership reflects genuine alignment between Arada's people-first approach to community building and Syria's national development priorities, ensuring that our communities are not only commercially excellent but meaningful for the country and its people. This is the beginning of a long-term relationship, and together we are already working to identify further sites for development across Syria.
